- Take an honest look at your business – is this a place where people want to work? Ask for feedback from your employees. Would they recommend your business to future candidates? If not why, and what can be done to improve the situation.
- Don’t close doors – at a time when there are skill shortages, it’s not unusual for employees to be attracted to new positions. Our recommendation is not to completely sever the relationship with exiting employees, conduct an exit interview and be nice! In our experience some people regret leaving a job but then don’t feel like they can return.
